During half term several college students who study mathematics came to school to take part in the Senior Maths Challenge. They sat a 90-minute maths paper, answering challenging problem-solving questions. All students did very well; Desiree W. achieved best in Year 12 and is through to the British Mathematical Olympiad, and Will B. achieved best in school in Year 13 and is through to the Senior Kangaroo.
Will and Desiree both get gold certificates.
Five students achieved silver certificates: Kirsten O'B., Graciaa S., Anamika K., Elinor J. and Isabelle McT.,
and two achieved bronze:
Zackary S. and Abid M.
