Business and Economics students were fortunate to be given an insight into the volatile world of retail when Shoezone’s Charles Smith delivered an engaging ‘Lunch and Learn’ session. He focused his talk around how Shoezone weathered and ultimately prospered from the UK’s economic crisis. He touched on almost all aspects of business from finance to Corporate Social Responsibility and staff motivation. The talk was both interesting and informative and stimulated some excellent questions from the audience, particularly the economists!
