On Friday 27th November the festive season began in style with the annual Howell’s Christmas Fayre in the Sports Hall and Day Room. More than 30 stall holders, including Howell’s students, joined us for the afternoon. Students, parents, grandparents, staff, alumni, governors and friends enjoyed visiting the wide selection of stalls and many Christmas presents were bought. Santa joined us once again this year and children were able to have a selfie with him, which was extremely popular. The Christmas Café, run by a wonderful team of parent volunteers, was a huge hit with visitors who stopped off for a drink and cake. The cakes were all generously provided by parents. Howell’s radio station was there throughout the afternoon broadcasting a selection of Christmas tunes and interviews with students and staff. Many thanks to the team of staff, parents, students and stall holders for all they did to make the Fayre such a special occasion.
