The annual Carol Services of nine lessons and carols in the stunning surroundings of Llandaff Cathedral on Tuesday 15th December at 1.45pm and 7pm. It was the 40th year that Howell’s has held services in the cathedral so they were particularly special this year. The services included excellent performances from the College Choir, Orchestra, Senior Choir, Wind Band and Youth Choir. In the afternoon, girls from Years 5 and 6 also treated us to a lovely performance of Suo-gân Mair and Away in a Manger. Students, staff and governors read the nine lessons. Many thanks to them and to everyone at the Cathedral for all they did to make the services such a success. Thank you to Mrs Phillips, Miss Cooksey, Miss Bowden, Mr Cheeke and all the staff who worked so hard to make the day so special.
