Cool, calm and collected, Izzy P. (Year 12) produced a completely dominant performance to row clear in her event. Totally unfazed by the technical delays and the waiting around, Izzy showed her class in this event. A deserved winner. Congratulations!
Individually the girls in Year 10 did very well but were slightly disappointed to have missed out on a medal, finishing 4th, 5th and 6th overall. However, motivated by the disappointment in the individual event, the girls were determined to finish the day on a high and leave with silverware in the team event. One slight mistake on the final change-over cost the team dearly. The girls recovered quickly and showed amazing teamwork, pushing hard to produce a great silver medal performance, missing out on gold by only 5 metres. A great effort!
