Year 1 enjoyed a 'Teddy bears' breakfast picnic' during the morning of Tuesday 12th January. As a start to their new topic on food, the girls all brought their favourite teddy into school and enjoyed eating toast with six different toppings. Many of the girls had never tried lemon curd but enjoyed it very much; some even had seconds! Only two girls out of 26 liked marmite as a topping but all the girls were very adventurous and tried every topping, even if a particular one wasn't to their liking! During the afternoon the girls then read the story 'Biscuit Bear' and they made their own biscuit bears and decorated these. What a yummy topic Year 1 have this term!
