Honours students and others with an interest in politics were treated to a very lively and impassioned debate after College on Tuesday, January 26th. Gwynoro Jones, Vice-Chair of the Wales Council for the European Union, put forward a stout case for the UK remaining in the EU, while Kevin Mahoney, UKIP Councillor for Sully and the Vale of Glamorgan, argued forcefully that the UK should leave. Both speakers engaged fully with the students, giving detailed responses to their questions. It was a highly enjoyable and informative debate on a very topical issue.
