This year Gopikaa was selected to represent Howell's in the prestigious Chrystall Prize Public Speaking Competition. Gopikaa, accompanied by Mrs Richards and Alyssa, went to The Royal High School, Bath to take part. She says, "Taking part in the Chrystall Prize was a really useful experience, as it was interesting to see the different approaches speakers took to present their speeches. It was also very informative, as the topics that were discussed were all very different and the arguments made were insightful. I enjoyed researching my topic of Body Modification and I learnt a lot, and performing my speech gave me more confidence, and opened up possibilities for me to develop my public speaking skills further."
