Many congratulations to the Howell’s Junior and Senior School chess teams who won both the under 19s and the under 11s categories in the ECF Girls’ Schools Championships which took place over the Easter holiday at St Catherine’s School, Bramley.
It went right down to the wire for the Senior School team but the girls held their nerve and pipped the early leaders by half a point to win the title outright.
We are extremely proud of the girls for these exceptional achievements.
