On Tuesday 19th April, Year 1 hosted a tea party for their families. This was a wonderful celebration as a culmination to the topic on food. The girls planned the menu, wrote invitations and made all the cakes, scones and sandwiches themselves. Dressed in beautiful party dresses, the Year 1 girls then treated their families to a few food-related songs they had learnt this term and demonstrated a Welsh country dance, before grabbing their parents and taking them to the dance floor! Everybody then enjoyed the tea party food and drink and went home with smiles on their faces.
