Congratulations to epéeist Louise S. (Year 10), who fenced brilliantly at the British Cadet (U17s) Championships in London last weekend. As a non- ranked competitor, Louise was placed in a tough first poule but nevertheless achieved four wins and two losses before going on to the direct elimination rounds. She won her first round but was knocked out in the second by the fencer who was placed second overall. This put Louise into 13th position, but she was the highest placed Welsh competitor. Well done, Louise!
