Last Thursday, College Business students enjoyed their first ‘Lunch & Learn’ of the new term. Joe Seviour and three of his fellow 2nd year students from the Team Entrepreneurship course at UWE gave an engaging, inspirational and thought-provoking presentation about their course and university experience. The course offers students a completely different way to study - ‘learning by doing’ - something which struck a chord with many of our students. Students are expected to set up and run their own business from sourcing finance to making a profit. Completing a degree without attending any lectures and paying off your student loan as you go certainly sounds incredibly appealing.
