Year 1 trip to the Post Office

On Monday the girls from Year 1 needed to buy some stamps as they wanted to post some letters.  They knew there was a Post Office in Llandaff village so off they went. It was a sunny day so they took a shortcut through the park noticing the Autumnal trees and a few dogs! When they arrived at Western Avenue they decided to cross safely at the bridge and counted 42 steps.  The girls then took a leisurely stroll along the pathway towards the Cathedral.  They climbed the 34 Dean’s Steps and ended up a bit puffed out on the village green.  When the girls arrived safely at the Post Office they were all able to ask independently for a first class stamp and they really enjoyed posting the letters. Thank you very much to all the parent helpers who accompanied us on this trip.
