On Tuesday, our College Honours students were treated to an interesting and thought provoking lecture from Professor Patrick Minford on the short term impacts that Britain leaving the European Union is likely to have. Professor Minford, who is Professor of Applied Economics at Cardiff Business School, presented his case for positivity and confidence using up to date statistics and research. Our students and staff proved both their knowledge and passion for the topic during a lively pre talk Q&A session, and we were all given much to ponder and to follow up on.
