Over the summer Claudia M. (Year 10) competed in the Welsh Open Long Course Summer Nationals Swimming Competition. She did extremely well, winning the gold medal in the 50 metres freestyle, and was crowned the Welsh champion in this event. She won the silver medal in the 400 metres freestyle and the bronze medal in the 100 metres freestyle. Claudia narrowly missed the bronze medal in the 800 metres freestyle by less than one tenth of a second. Last weekend she was selected to represent East Wales in the National Inter-County Championships in Sheffield in October. What wonderful achievements, Claudia; we are all proud of you!
