Howell's took part in the nationwide Open Doors scheme on Friday 18th September. Twenty visitors, including parents of current students, arrived at 10.00 for refreshments and to have a look at the school museum. Some enjoyed browsing in old school magazines and found references to family members! They then had a guided tour of the main building, Cumberland Lodge, Hazelwood, Oaklands and Bryntaf. The tour included a brief history of the origins of the school and the development of the buildings. The last visitor left at 1.30pm! We look forward to taking part in the scheme again next September.
