On Thursday, 17th September, Year 7 spent the day getting to know each other. First, they were put into small groups to compete to win points for their house in a general knowledge quiz, then they had fun with their form tutors preparing a Welsh play for performance in front of the rest of the year group. Props and sound effects were used very inventively!
After lunch, everyone headed to Boulders for teambuilding experiences including precarious ladder climbing and the daunting ‘Leap of Faith’! They supported and had fun with each other before meeting the Year 7 Prefects at TGI Friday’s restaurant for a tasty meal. Their tutors were complimented on their enthusiasm and excellent behaviour several times during the day. Well done, girls: we’re sure you enjoyed it as much as the staff did!
