The girls talked about repeating patterns and creating their own patterns using the apples the farmer harvested from the farm. Theyalso read and sequenced the story ‘The Little Red Hen’. She was having a great deal of trouble getting the animals on the farm to help her . The girls had lots of discussions about the importance of helping one another. They used oats to make their own flapjacks. In Forest School they had to help the owl rebuild her nest after it was blown away by strong winds during the night. They read the story 'Owl Babies' which helped them to find out about what owls use to build their nests.
