Our U14 Cricket Team competed in the GDST Softball Cricket Tournament on Tuesday and missed out on making the final by just 2 runs. They played outstandingly throughout the day, led by Captain Isabel who positioned the players in the field and helped decided the batting order, to enable the highest scores throughout the day.
They finished top of their group in the morning and won their quarter-final game. In the semi-finals, they faced Northampton and played incredibly well despite the match ending 237 to 239 to the opposition. The team consisted of Anna, Anna Marie, Becky, Eira, Elizabeth, Isabel, Phoebe, Safia and Trixie who wowed the crowd all day and made some brilliant catches.
