Girls in Years 5&6 should go to Senior School lunch (joining the clubs’ line) and then straight to their performance room.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking at the overall performance of the piece on the day, including the use of dynamics, the correct notes, accurate intonation, the musicality of the performance and a positive playing action, plus any stylistic or individual touches that are given to the music.
POSITIONS:
We will award 1 1st place for each Section (1 in each sub-section of Section A), generally a 2nd place, a 3rd place and possibly some Highly Commended. (Equal 2nd or 3rd etc could be given if thought appropriate)
HOUSE POINTS:
1 point for turning up (and actually playing!), 2 points for 3rd place, 3 points for 2nd place, 4 points for 1st place.
Good luck, girls! Keep practising!
